A Cheesemonger's Ploughman's

Available Wednesday to Sunday from Midday throughout Spring and Summer. A proper British board, built from the ground up with care, flavour and a bit of swagger.

Six considered components, each chosen by His Lordship to bring joy, balance, and plenty of cheese

  1. The Cheese Choose one or two from His Lordship’s counter — up to 60 British cheeses on offer, from traditional Cheddars to washed rinds and young goats. Even a whole Cornish Camembert, if the mood strikes.

  2. The Bread Thick slices of Rye Bakery’s white sourdough, delivered fresh each day. Crusty, chewy, naturally leavened and made with locally milled flour.

  3. The Butter Brue Valley Salted Butter, sliced from the roll — handmade in Somerset, salty and unashamedly generous.

  4. The Sweet Pickle. It’s Branston. Yes, that Branston. Unimprovable, unapologetic, and steeped in British tradition (and a bit of treacle).

  5. The Piccalilli & Pickled Onions From GingerBeard’s Preserves in Bristol — fiery Ale & Chilli Piccalilli and proper Traditional Pickled Onions, made with care by Harry & Claire.

  6. The Palate Cleansers A seasonal English apple and a stick fresh celery — refreshing, cleansing, and proof that His Lordship is thinking of your health.

GOOD CHEESE, GOOD BREAD, GOOD BUTTER AND PICKLES DONE RIGHT (with an apple and celery for health)
